What are the symptoms and signs of hair loss?
Hair loss is a completely normal phenomenon due to the hair cycle. About 100 hairs can normally fall out in one day. Hair loss usually results in more than 100 hairs per day.
The symptoms of hair loss can be different depending on gender, age and especially the cause of hair loss. In cases where hair loss is due to various internal diseases, this could be the only symptom and the only complaint that leads to the correct diagnosis.
In these cases, there may be other symptoms besides hair loss. In most cases, hair loss can be due to frequent hair coloring, use of a hair dryer, curling iron, press or styling products. Taking certain medications, malnutrition, various infections, hormonal disorders, some systemic or skin diseases can also lead to hair loss.
Hair loss is usually not accompanied by any other complaints. The change in hair can be noticed both while looking in the mirror and by relatives or the hairdresser.

Pull test
The hair pull test is also called the pull-test. This method is easy to implement, and at the same time gives a lot of useful information.
It is performed on hair that has not been washed for several days. Grasp about 50 to 100 hairs with three fingers, then pull. The test can be repeated several times. With the help of this method you can assess whether there is excessive hair loss.
Densitometry
The densitometer is a small device that creates a magnification and this allows direct monitoring for the presence of hair miniaturization.
Skin biopsy
Take a small piece of skin 3-4 mm in diameter and examine it under a microscope to determine the type or cause of hair loss.
