Liposuction is the new big fashion in the field of plastic surgery that finds application in breast augmentation. In the 2nd stage, we take the fat and reposition it in the breasts through a tiny hole from the bottom of the breast. This way the minimal scar that is created is not visible. The fat is injected in a natural and uniform way without being annoying for the woman. The return to daily activity is done with the instructions of the plastic surgeon, usually after 1-2 days.

What are the disadvantages of liposuction in breast augmentation?

• Not all the fat that is injected will remain forever. Some of this fat will be absorbed by the woman’s body
• In most cases more than one operation will be needed. It takes some time for the final desired result to be presented.
• It is not fully tested with studies if there is a problem in the radiological examination of the breasts after liposuction

The postoperative course is usually painless and short. The woman follows the instructions of the plastic surgeon and usually returns to daily activities 1-2 days later. The operation has immediate visible results, while the final image exists about half a year later.
