Eyebrow Lift Technique

Endoscopic technique: incisions are made in the hairline at the temples; an endoscope is inserted through these incisions to see inside the forehead, then the surgeon lifts the skin with small hooks or tapes.

Open technique: one long incision is made from ear to ear above the top of your head, then another incision is made from one temple to another temple across the top of your head. The scalp will be separated from your skull and lifted up so that surgery can take place under it. The surgeon will cut away any excess skin and connect deeper tissues using stitches or staples.

The two most common types of eyebrow lifts are the endoscopic brow lift, and the coronal brow lift. In both operations, the surgeon makes an incision at the top of the forehead and then separates the skin from the underlying muscles. The surgeon pulls up the skin and flesh, and removes excess fat. The surgeon then lifts the eyebrows to their desired height and tightens them to make them look more youthful.
